The Best Band Ever ...Literally

In January of 2018, Raquel Telfer joined forces with Bluegrass Hall of Fame musician, Jeff Gilkinson (The Dillards, John Hartford, Tom T. Hall), and West African variety percussionist, Clifford Koufman, to form the core of “The Best Band Ever.”  The band’s bluegrass, celtic, and tribal rhythm influences combined with the deep grooves and catchy, poppy melodies in Raquel’s songwriting produce a sound that’s all its own: Jiggy Grass, as the band has coined it.  With songs such as “Gone Hippie,” “Peace Sign,” and “The Medicine Show,” The Best Band Ever brings Raquel Telfer’s authentic boho spirit to life.  The band continues to add more color to the act with every show, and is preparing to paint with all the colors of the wind in the studio.  Fans can expect a studio release in Fall, 2018.
